Troopathon and Sacramento County Probation Association Unite to Honor Cesar Chavez Day, Packing Care Packages for Deployed Troops
WHAT: Troopathon is teaming up with the Sacramento County Probation Association to commemorate Cesar Chavez Day by assembling care packages for deployed troops. Probation officers and their families will volunteer to pack over 1000 boxes filled with essential items, personalized to fulfill specific requests from military families, including gourmet coffee, premium beef jerky, Girl Scout cookies, Blue Diamond almonds, personal hygiene kits, handmade items, and letters of encouragement.
The event aims to honor the legacy of Cesar Chavez and show appreciation for the sacrifices made by our troops. These care packages serve as a tangible expression of gratitude and support for our brave service members stationed abroad.
