Special Valentine's Wishes for our Troops
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and we want to make sure our troops feel the love from the homefront. Once again, Troopathon has reached out to our school and community partners across the country to help us with a special delivery of Valentine's Day cards and treats expressing love for those who put their lives on the line to keep us free back home.
Valentine’s is a day that is synonymous with demonstrating our love and showing those we cherish just how much they mean to us. Why not take a moment to share just a little bit of that love with our troops? Our troops show us their love for our country and freedom every day. The love from our troops is something we often take for granted, but we shouldn't.
What could be better than sending our troops iconic Troopathon care packages stuffed to the brim with special treats and daily necessities our troops look forward to receiving? For a limited time, our care packages will include special homemade Valentine's Day cards courtesy of special school children, church groups, and civic groups across the nation.
Jean Klark of Dexter United Methodist share one of the hundred of homemade Valentine's cards made by the children of their church.
Every day our troops demonstrate their love for us. Why not take just a moment to remember our deployed men and women and make sure the most deserving hearts won’t be lonely hearts for Valentine’s Day this year!
To make our Valentine’s package even more special Troopathon will include yummy and fun Valentine’s candy conversation hearts. Of course, our troop support packages will include all our regular great treats like cookies, premium beef jerky, woolen socks, hand and face wipes to handle tough grime and much more.
Everyone loves to get a reminder on Valentine’s Day that they are loved and part of a bigger family, let’s take the time to give some of that love to our troops
Shop and Give with Amazon Smile
Troopathon continues participating with Amazon Smile Non-Profit Program, where Amazon donates a portion of whatever you order to Troopathon so we can send even more support packages to our troops!
Millions of Americans already use Amazon to purchase clothes, books and movies to tech gadgets, or almost anything you can think of. Chances are, if you've ever bought anything on-line, you have probably used Amazon at some point.
Now with Amazon Smile, you can support Troopathon at no cost to you, simply by buying the same things you would have bought anyway.
Prices are the same, shipping is the same, and nothing changes except Amazon donates .05% of your purchase to Troopathon on your behalf!
Smile.Amazon.com is super simple to set up through your web browser or you can activate AmazonSmile in the Amazon Shopping app on your iOS or Android phone within the Settings or Programs & Features menu. On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you will be prompted to select a charitable organization to receive donations from your future eligible AmazonSmile purchases. Just search for Troopathon and select us as your charitable partner. Amazon will remember your selected Troopathon whenever you shop at smile.amazon.com or with AmazonSmile activated in the Amazon Shopping app, and then every eligible purchase you make through AmazonSmile will result in a donation for to Troopathon.
Best of all there is no extra cost to you, just extra support for our brave defenders for buying the things you normally would. It's a WIN-WIN!
Troops Reach out to say "Thank You" for our Support
Here is a letter we recently received from troops serving overseas on the front lines! We love getting this feedback from the troops who received care packages sponsored by YOU!
And we love showing off these messages that illustrate just how much of a positive impact and morale boost these care packages give to the troops who receive them. Sponsor your own box to spread the same warm message of love and support to more of our troops! Here's the letter below:
Good afternoon from Air Base 201 In Niger.
We wanted to reach out to you to express our gratitude for the care packages we received from Troopathon. The warriors here at AB 201 are very grateful...
...That being said, a lot of smiles have been put on all our faces as we dig in to the packages.
I will send your contact to Air Base 101 which is in another part of Niger and have asked if we can share you contact with them. I will also ensure that as I wind down on my deployment, the incoming staff will have your contact and reach out to you once we have finished the current stock we have.
Thanks again for all your support.
See attached picture of the first delivery we received. In the picture is Maj Victor Eguaibor, and Staff Sergeant Lauren Steib from the 724TH Expeditionary Air Base Squadron, Niger, Africa.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
