Schools, universities, clubs, civic organizations, and community outreach programs frequently require service hours to fulfill requirements. Why stress over finding a reliable, safe, friendly, clean, and professional environment where service hours can be readily earned, when Troopathon is right here with the answer? Scouts, Key Club members, church groups, and home-schoolers are often found among our volunteer forces who just love the excitement of packing care packages for our troops.

We host military families and veterans from organizations such as Wounded Warrior Project, VFW, or Team RWB. We also work with Veteran's Court through California's innovative Collaborative Courts. The Collaborative Court offers veterans who have experienced difficulty reintegrating as civilians an opportunity to serve and connect while helping them get back on their feet.

"We're working hard to earn our Top-Rated 2022 Nonprofit status," said Scott Raab, Outreach Coordinator, Troopathon. "This will be our ninth year in a row where our donors, volunteers, and most importantly our recipients, the troops themselves have made us Top-Rated. We work hard to make sure our supporters know we appreciate their support. Without them, none of this would be possible. The gift of a care package means so much more than just the goodies and most requested items we send, it's a reminder that they are not alone, that they are loved and most importantly not forgotten."

Semper Paratus to Semper Fi and More

Whether you are "Always Prepared" or "Always Faithful", August has it's fair share of military celebrations. We celebrate Coast Guard Day on August 4th. Founded in 1790 by Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton as the Revenue Cutter Service, but known today as our modern Coast Guard.

Our Marine Corp Reserve celebrates it's birthday on August 29 and has faithfully served in war and peace since it's founding in 1916. Between these two birthdays we also find some notable military celebrations. Purple Heart Day falls on August 7, where we pay tribute to those wounded or those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

August 14 is Navajo Code Talkers Day to honors the contribution of our First Nations soldiers who served during World War II and contributed to U.S. victory through their skill and efforts with top-secret communications vital to mission success.

Don't worry Airborne, we didn't forget you and celebrate your achievements in the skies on National Airborne Day on August 16. After all, it is exciting to see you throw yourself out of perfectly good airplanes.

FEATURED PRODUCT: Power Crunch Bars

It's darned hot out there, and that heat can drain even the fittest troops. With this in mind, we figured our military could use some powerful protein to keep them fueled in the field. Introducing Power Crunch bars! High in protein and low in sugar, Power Crunch protein bars offer 10-20 grams of whey protein per bar. Power Crunch comes in a variety of crave-worthy flavors from cookies 'n cream to peanut butter.

We love to add exciting new products to our care packages. In addition to our regular staples like coffee, personal care items, candy and more we are always on the hunt for new goodies. Items that fit easily into our care packages while benefiting our troops are our passion. Whether it's a tasty treat, a fun new gadget or something to spice up a dreary day, our mission is supporting our troops and our method is through care packages. While supplies last, we are excited to include Power Crunch bars.

Forever Grateful -- August Photo of the Month

Every piece of mail a soldier receives boosts the morale and ability to continue their mission for another day. A care package is that same feeling intensified by 110 percent. The kindness exuded by volunteers and fellow patriots brings incomparable joy and we are forever grateful who take care of us while we heed the call to take care of them.
